What do you like better....Hp or LOTR??

Question: which of the two do you like better....harry potter or LOTR? and why? i like harry potter better......way more fun and exciting......i love the good vs. evil in hp..... plus Lord Voldemort is better bad guy than sauron. :) LOTR is still a great novel though.

Answer: Lord of the Rings. It just has so much more of that epic feel. You really do feel like the fate of the world is hanging in the balance. That and the details flesh out the story so much. There are so many simultaneous layers and subtlties that enrich the story. That's not to say that Harry Potter isn't enjoyable (it defintely is one of my favourite series of all time) but LOTR is one of the best works of fiction ever written.
